Robyn, “Muvah Pocah'“ is a devoted mother, fierce advocate, and vital voice for transgender rights in Dallas. As a Black transgender woman, she navigates motherhood and activism with resilience and compassion, building community and creating safer spaces for LGBTQ+ families. Beyond her role as a chosen mother at the house or rebirth, Muvah is a primary provider and parental figure for her nieces and nephews—opening her home, resources, and heart to ensure their stability, safety, and opportunity. Balancing caregiving with public advocacy, she models how love and responsibility can coexist with social justice work, using her platform to amplify marginalized voices and to push for policies that protect LGBTQ+ families. Her story is one of courage, growth, and unwavering commitment to justice—an inspiring testament to the power of visibility, chosen and biological family, and collective action.
